The car has like 30k miles on it. When braking at low speeds (especially when I am reversing), once I hit the brakes, I hear this knocking sound (usually just once knock like "tuck" sound) on my driver's side. Is this a concern? And what should I tell the mechanic to check?

Well of course check to suspension to see if a ball joint or tie rod is warrant and also check the brakes to see if they're just wearing thin and getting down to the metal
