yes so on the factory single dim head unit you press the radio button 3 times on the third time it shows xm radio so how can i connect it to sirius xm there are no instructions and it has nothing on the internet i can find about how to do it
If you bought the truck recently, you need to go to Sirius/XM's official website: SiriusXM Free Trial | SiriusXM You need your truck's VIN (visible underneath the windshield on the driver's side) and follow the steps as shown on the radio. Hope that helps.

I'm not sure what you meaning, here. You need the factory head unit, and it should say Sirius/XM on a button. Press the button and go through the steps.
If the head unit doesn't have some kind of button that says Sirius, more than likely, you don't have the add-on package.

If you are a subscriber to Sirius/Xm you can get the app for your smart phone and then pair your phone to the head unit.
Well you need the wiring diagram for the vehicle so you can see which wires go where. There's a really cool site called mech AI. If you don't mind watching ads, it's free. You can get all that information there with the wiring diagrams. What wires go where. And if they've changed their format, it's only like $7.99 for a whole month's worth of information
@scottykilmer ok thanks i will try that because i do want to wire up some other things so it will be helpful for doing that
I would just change out the radio to a car play system, that way you could have any music you want and a full GPS system google maps for free...sirius xm is a subscription service you have to pay for...
