Hello Scotty....long time fan of your channel.
I'm looking for a used Ford F250 and am not certain as to what years are the most reliable. I operate a small construction business in Massachusetts. Not all that far from your summer place. I made the mistake, in 2019, of buying a Dodge RAM "warlock." It looked great on the lot....but it is a major piece of crap. Rattles, dents like tinfoil....horrible truck. Lucky for me, during a storm a few of weeks ago, a tree fell right across the dodge...sending it to hell where it belongs. B
Are into a regular gasoline engine or a diesel engine? The ford f250s are good pickups but you want to avoid the 2006 model year.

Avoid the 2018 F250 with the 6.7L Diesel. Here's why:
My Carmax F-250 STRANDED ME On The Side Of The Road *Diesel Everywhere*
Is My CarMax FORD F-250 Platinum CURSED? *Fuel System Epidemic*
CarMax CAN'T SOLVE These TWO PROBLEMS With My New Ford F-250
CarMax FIXED My Ford F-250 For 8 Hours *Then It Broke Again*
A CHASSIS ENGINEER Solved My F-250 DEATH WOBBLE So CarMax Wouldn't Have To
Need I show ya more. NEVER get the Diesel. Its not worth it unless you go F350 DRW or F450.
1997>. If you’re willing to find a decently reliable truck, go for the older ones. Even the diesels before 97 are better, less complex and simpler to work on, and the gas engines were much better before 97 as well. I am a GM guy and I will always be, but the 87-97 trucks were some of the better ford trucks out there in my opinion, especially the heavy duty’er ones!
