Looking at getting a performance car. Really considering a Cadillac "V" model. Thoughts & opinions? Heard they are decent & can handle mods well. What do you think?
Cadillac is not what they used to be. If that is what you want go for it but maybe wait a bit if you are getting a 2021 model. Carcomplaints.com has problems that occurred with that car.
Yeah, that is my big concern. Quality sunk but i figured with V models, they might have some pride left in them. Appreciate the feedback!
Most of the new 2020+ Cadillac V models use turbo 6 cylinders, which is not the best for tuning/modifying the car. If you really want a Cadillac performance car, I would get the older CTS-V models with the big 6.2L V8. There is a lot of information on how to properly tune those things since they were on sale for 10 years. If you want something simpler, consider a Ford Mustang V8 with a manual transmission.
Yeah, that is what i was looking into. The twin turbo set ups im not a huge fan of. I like the idea of it being a sleeper. In my neck of the woods, you NEVER see "V" models. I might consider a GT. I seen those at fair prices and i do know the aftermarket is very large. I appreciate the feedback!
