2018 Ram 2500 has some sort of recall for the drag link jamb nuts backing off. Chrysler's fix is to spot weld the nuts in place and charge the customer an additional $150 to align the truck. My customer had the dealer call corporate and they confirmed the additional charges. I cut those spot welds in 10 minutes and charged $20
Why do ppl still buy these......most of them are crap..most.of them have been for 30 years...I've had dodges, I've bought them after the tranny was rebuilt.my wife and I had a journey RT . beautiful truck, we loved it.. as far as the looks..and features.. it was a money pit though.. it always ran, but most of the time we had it, it would need something else, after we fixed one thing. Transfer case eventually blew, and it was like 2000 just for parts, couldn't afford it at the time, and kinda didn't wanna fix it since we had so many issues before that. She ended up getting a honda. I did have a durango that I got cheap, w the 5.2, or 5.7 I forget which it had, but I loved it, it ran and drove really good, and it had 252k on it. Motor seemed original, I'm sure the tranny wasnt w those miles.. but ,I've had a couple other dodges, the ran good, just had other issues .
They shouldn't have bought it in the first place. Get rid of it.
