Water pump leaks

Hey Scotty or anyone who can answer this. I have a 2013 Honda Accord Touring with a V6 engine, 6 speed automatic transmission and 140,000 miles. Recently, and you might have heard this before, I had a thermostat replaced. It leaked antifreeze, took it to an independent mechanic who didn't find anything and the issue seemed to be okay after I put in antifreeze. He suspected there may have been air in the cooling system Now, 2 months later I've leaked antifreeze again. I plan on taking it back to the independent mechanic since he does good work. I had the thermostat replaced originally at Pep Boys. (mistake, you don't have to tell me twice). I will also admit that I took my car in too fast and hit a parking curb. Could hitting the parking curb be the issue? I've done that before (yeah sometimes I get a little hot doggy). As you all know, low or no antifreeze leads to no heat and/or overheating. I am beyond Pep Boys sorry warranty . Someone earlier answered that Pep Boys may have neglected to rid the cooling system or air, causing the problem. Is it that simple? Please help. I am not happy with these developments.

It leaked antifreeze

How do you know? Please describe what you actually saw.

And never go to Perp Boys

I saw antifreeze on the ground where I parked. Saturday, the heater took a long time to warm up. And people are telling to return to Pep Boys. I will when pigs fly

I saw antifreeze on the ground

you need to find out where it's coming from

I have an answer about the leak MountainManJoe.. The independent mechanic says it's coming from the water pump. I'll have to go somewhere else because he's leaving the business very soon.

I'm not sure about the setup of your specific car but if the radiator sticks out below the bumper guard it is possible that you are hitting it and causing a crack in the radiator thereby causing a leak
