Apple Honda Rip Off

Hey Scotty, please let as many people as possible know about this dealership. I got ripped off by a dealer called Apple Honda in York PA. I had a 2017 Honda Accord with a problem where the car would vibrate in drive or reverse while idling regardless the AC, defrost or heat was on. I know some vibration is normal, but this vibration was so bad I could hear the dash was rattling. Also, the car would lunge forward and backward when I would put the car into drive and reverse. So my mechanic told me that it cold be something with either the transmission or motor mounts. So he told me to take it up to the dealership because at the time it was still covered under warranty. I made an appointment on Apple Honda in York PA and they first told me it had to do with my Sirius XM radio causing the problem. I told them it was a bunch of BS and I mentioned my mechanic's name and your name and what my mechanic said and what someone told me on your website. Then they told me they would look at it again. They never called me back to say the vehicle was done like we agreed on. So I called them and talk to the receptionists and she told me is was done. I was already furious with them already for them trying to rip me off. So I demanded to talk to the manager, and he wasn't in then she said there was another guy in and she said he was in. However, when she transferred me to him it went right to voicemail, so I left a nasty message. The service advisor called me back and changed their story from the Sirius radio causing the problem to there's nothing wrong with the car. So we went up the next day to do a test drive with their mechanic. It was doing the vibration and it was lunging forward and backwards when I went to put the car into either drive or reverse. So I asked the mechanic if he felt that and he said yes. But he said oh well that's normal your going to feel the car lunge forward or backwards when you but the car into Drive or Reverse. He also said Well that's just the way the car is designed your going to feel vibration. I kept fighting with them to do something and they wouldn't do anything about it. As time went on the transmission would rev up to 2000 RPM when I was maintain 40 MPH on a flat road and it wouldn't shift. Then there was electrical problems that started with the answer phone button on the steering wheel where it would answer calls and also trigger the voice commands even though there was a dedicated button for the voice commands. The trunk randomly would open by itself when my keys weren't even in my pocket. Finally, the day before I traded in the car I was on the highway and I was trying to pass someone, and the car wouldn't accelerate I had the gas pedal down all of the way and it finally accelerated. Three weeks ago, I traded in my Accord for an brand new car. Since I don't have the car anymore, I had this extended warranty contract on the car that my dad made me get. I called these swines at the dealership 4 times to cancel that extended warranty. The first two I asked for the finance department, then twice I demanded to talk to. Both the manager and finance department would not answer back. (Which the warranty I thought was a big mistake to buy after finding out that they dictate what you are allowed and what you aren't allowed to put into the car.) Now I am going to get the better business bureau involved as well. I thought I should tell you Scotty so you can let as many people know about these swines.

1. Without being able to drive the car hands on, it is impossible for anyone here to say if the vibration/lurching was normal or not.

2. If you haven't gotten ahold of anyone yet about the warranty, call them back and ask to speak to their warranty clerk in accounting. That is the person who will process your cancellation.

Be aware the more hostile you are, the less help you're going to get and the harder your path forward becomes. The BBB is a joke these days and complaining to them goes nowhere. I know from when I sued Ford just how useless they are.

All warranties have limits, including the new factory warranties.
