Hey Scotty I’m thinking to buy a 2011 Audi A6 I’ve heard they pretty reliable with the V6 supercharged engine Whats your opinion on those ?
thanks !
Those have a lot of over-engineered German tech and being out of warranty will cost a small fortune to repair when things fail (and they will!). You have to always look at the complete picture, not just the powertrain. My recommendation is to lease a newer one while under warranty; that way if anything goes wrong you throw the keys at the dealer and make them fix on their dime.
Hi, welcome to the forum first off.
There is a search button at the top right and you can search up what we have posted regarding our opinions on Audis before, here are just some of them that pop up:

They generally fall apart with age they are overengineered and that "german engineering" is so complicated it will eat your family. Now the V6 engine itself might be alrigth and Audi isn't a bad engine maker (except for its 2.0T engine, thats a horrible design) but all the add ons like turbos and the rest of the car is a whole money pit and they tend to be expensive to repair and maintain.
Have you seen Scotty's video on the A4?
