Automatic Transmission Drain Plug

Topic starter

I have a 2004 Dodge Dakota and it has about 120,000 miles on it. I'd like to have a transmission pan with a drain plug so it wouldn't be so expensive to fluid changed. I haven't seen a transmission with a drain plug in ages. Can you get that in an aftermarket? I had a transmission flushed in the past (once) and it never drove the same afterwards. Also how hard is it to change an 1984 Z28 Camaro with a four-barrel carburetor to a throttle body fuel injection or any fuel injection for that matter? Thank you in advance for your time in reading this and if you're reply I'd be grateful. If not that completely understand because I can only imagine how stomped you are with questions and stuff from people all around the world.

You can take the pan and the aftermarket plug assembly to A good welding shop, and they will install the plug for you. I had that done for my 90 Dakota. I also saw aftermarket drain pans with plugs already in them for my vehicle on Amazon. Check Amazon and eBay

Edelbrock makes a good conversion kit for older cars going from a carburetor to fuel injection. It's not too hard if you have all the pieces and there are lots of YT videos on how to do it for Chevy 305/350s.
