Hi Scotty, I have an issue which I’ve been dealing with for a while now. My car is a Hyundai Elantra 2015 Limited Edition , automatic transmission and 79650 mileage. So here it goes, around February 2020,one morning my car wouldn’t start at all and after further inspection, it turned out to be the battery. So fine, It was the original battery- used for about 3-4 years. I changed the battery, bought one from autozone and car was doing fine. After 6 months, around august, car did not start, I called triple A, and they tried to jump start the car but nothing was happening. Once at the AAA shop, they told me the battery was the issue, and I needed a new one. They said battery was completely dead. So they supposedly gave me a new battery, they charged me for it and now after 6 or so months, the car is having the same issue. But each time the engine doesn’t start, by jumping the car, the engine is able to start. If I leave the headlights on for even 5 minutes while the engine is off, the car won’t start again. Last time I checked the voltage of the battery and it was at 7.5 Volts when it’s supposed to be 12Volts. I am trying to wrap my head around what could be casing this issue. Any advice or recommendations is highly appreciated. Thank you!!
Was your alternator checked out? If that is fine, then something is draining your battery. To troubleshoot check Scotty’s video here:

Have your alternator checked. It might not be charging the battery.
