Bluedriver not working with Japanese vehicles

Good day Scotty really like your videos learned alot about fixing cars myself, I am from the Caribbean (Trinidad) and I recently bought the bluedriver scan tool because I saw you did a review of it. I have a 1993 Nissan Sentra B13 that I installed a newer engine (QG18) because it was carbureted before. The OBD2 port was installed to be able to scan the car and I know it works because someone scanned it already as it had a oxygen sensor problem. The bluedriver does  not connect to the car and on older Japanese vehicles which we have alot of in my country. The support at Bluedriver were helpful and said vehicles from Japan did not implement OBD2 protocol before 2010 so the scanner will not work. I am very disappointed as I bought the scanner to scan my vehicle I tried it on some newer vehicles like Toyota Hilux and Hyundai Tucson and it worked. I did some research and found that older Japanese vehicles use JOBD and I found a scanner on Amazon that could scan that protocol (Ancel JP700) so it looks like I will have to buy another scanner to scan the older Japanese vehicles we have in our country. Do you have any advise on cheap reliable scanners that might work for my application. Thank you for your help on this matter and keep up the good work.

Problem is it's too old it's a 93 I've never seen any blue driver scanners of any type that will work on anything that's not at least a 1995.guys add stuff on but doesn't mean it's going to work right cuz that vehicle did not come with OBD2
