I've seen online that the 02 pilot mod helps BMW E46 models with oil consumption. I did this mod with my 2004 325xi and it triggers the check engine light saying the engine is running too lean. Besides the obvious fact that I BMW's are money pits, is there anything I did wrong or should look out for? Thanks!

Oil consuption is mechanical issue. No computer can fix that.
