Hi I come to this forum to get some advice or more insight regarding this particular issue that I am experiencing on my BMW. One day I was driving in the city when all of the sudden there was certain beep and this 3 lights came on my dashboard all at once (ABS, BRAKE & DTC in yellow). Read the manual and it only said take it to the dealership. Digging online I found out that sometimes these light might come on if the brake fluid is low. Check that and it was missing some but nothing to be really concern about, top the brake fluid to max level lights where still on.

So I used a cheap BMW scan tool to see if they were any trouble codes. I retrieved the following BMW codes 5DF0 Hydraulic unit: pump motor & 5DF1 Hydraulic unit: pump motor connector faulty. I heard this pumps go bad for no reason (My car just hit 30,000 miles) and if you replace them with a new one, it needs to be re-program. Since I do not have the necessary tools to perform the job my self. I was wondering if you can recommend any car shop here in the Houston area to perform the job. Worst case scenario is that the pump is bad and needs to be replacement.

What's is fair pricing for replacing the ABS pump motor?
