Hi Scotty, thanks for answering my last question. I have another question for you about the same truck I asked you about before (2011 GMC Sierra about to turn 100,000 miles). Around 93,000 miles I decided to switch all exterior light assemblies to led. All the light assemblies I bought are plug and play. I have alpha Rex nova head lights, morimoto xb fog lights and license plate lights, and luminex led reverse lights. The tail lights I got off americantrucks.com, I believe they’re Spyder brand but I don’t remember, I just liked the styling and price of them so I got them. They are a COB led style tail light. Once a month the left one goes out and it also shuts off the license plate lights. When I turn the left turn signal on when this happens, the left reverse light blinks with the turn signal and nothing else. To fix it I just unplug the light and plug it back in then it works again for another month. This is getting to be annoying and I was wondering if you had a clue what the problem could be.
The vehicle was never engineered or designed to use LED lights.
put your original lights back and see if the problem goes away. If it does then your aftermarket stuff is defective. Contact their company for support.
