Bucking, jerking on upshift.

Hello all. I have a problem.
I own a automatic 2008 Ford Edge that is in very good shape, but when I accelerate and reach speeds of the 22 and 25 mph my vehicle gives a slight jerk/ buck and the RPM's shoot up slightly (like it slipped, i guess. never had any car that had a slipping issue so im going in blind with a few videos watched).

I haven't 'felt' or 'noticed' it doing this at higher speeds or lower speeds.

I dont have any check engine lights on and yes the light works. checked fluid, no browning, no burning and its not low.

any help would be great.

thank you for your time.

has the transmission fluid been changed?

ill have to ask the one i bought it off of. all his cars are well maintained and kept in working order.
he did all the normal upkeep himself and took it to ford dealership for routine checkups over the years.
I bought this off him 3 months ago and haven't broken 300 miles on it but do small errand with it, within the city I'm in(i mainly use my 2003 kia sedona lx for everything instead )

i'll be back with the relevant info. when the previous owner comes back from work. or when I go to my storage to pick up the maintenance files he gave me.

Flares (the rpm surging up when shifting) are a common symptom of valve body issues on a Ford Edge.
Here’s a great document showing what issues lead to what transmission behavior.

If the oil wasn’t changed, and changing the oil doesn’t fix it - you’ll probably will need a valve body replacement / repair.
A good transmission shop will be able to test your valve body and tell you if it is the culprit - if this has been going for a while, it might has caused other more substantial damage.
