Hello sir! I'm currently searching for used cars and came across a used 2013 Toyota Highlander 4WD V6 with a five-speed automatic. It has 74,365 miles on it and is going for $16,000 from the dealership it's being sold at, but I think I'll be able to negotiate it lower. Is it a good buy?
Thank You!

I always use Edmunds "trade in" value as an estimator then go from there. I used to work at a leading used car company years ago and what they offered for trades or buy outs was always close to Edmunds trade in values or less. Its a start. Always start out lower than what you want to pay.
Try to pay less. But first, road test it and if you like it, have it checked by a mechanic.
Good luck!
That price seems high, try this app called CarGurus and see if you can find similar models for a much lower price!
2016 highlander had 5 trim levels, LE, LE Plus, XLE, Limited, and Limited Platinum.
The fair market value of the mentioned vehicle can vary from about $11,000.00 to $19,000.00 USD, depending upon trim level, condition, options, sales region, and the status of title, registration and emissions cert.
For a base LE, the price is too high, for a platinum, the price is far too low.
In my experience, the Platinum is the most desirable, it also had the lowest number made.
use cargurus to find similar deals around you. Or you can give me your zip code and I could give you a link
Cargurus is a ripoff !
Thanks everyone!
Like PorkChopHll said, I always got to Edmunds car appraisal section to see what a car might be worth.
