Should I buy this Camry

Hello, we found this 2005 camry from some guy who has 160,000 miles on it and he’s selling it for $3,000. Are these cars good to buy? It’s the v6 version so I don’t know if that makes a difference, but I would like to know if these cars are just as reliable as the 4 cylinder camrys. thank you.

Excellent car that is bulletproof. If it is in good shape then it is well worth the asking price.

Thanks for the answer, all it has is a dent on the rear bumper and the interior looks clean. It’s a one owner and the guy has all the oil changes recorded, all we are doing today is driving there again to test drive it. Seems like a good first car judging by the replies thankfully.

Pretty solid generation, especially 2005-2006.  See below:

If you move forward, be sure to have an independent, honest mechanic like Scotty thoroughly check it out with his fancy scan tool, road test and analyze all the data and make sure vehicle is mechanically sound (especially the transmission).

Also, make sure it has excellent service history, that the seller was diligent with engine oil and transmission fluid changes, and just took care of the vehicle.

Ahh thank you for the answer, I wanted to know because it’s going to be my first car and I wanted something reliable. The guy who was selling it to us showed us all the recorded oil changes and the one owner title. We’re going to test drive it tomorrow, it’s the xle v6 so it has the leather seats and everything. Just need to test it out of course.
