Car cranking but not starting

I own a 2004 Dodge Stratus 3l rt. I was driving it around and then I pulled into a car wash and all I did was I revd my engine up to 6rpm down to 4 then back to 6 in the span of about 4 seconds I would say. But after i stopped revving it it just stopped. It was cranking but not starting so I tried to see if it was the fuel and sprayed some starting fluid into the intake but that didn't fix it. I did watch the video of Scotty so now I assume it is either the distributer or the crankshaft position sensor. I just did the timing belt on it and someone told me it could have skipped a tooth but I kinda doubt that. I am hope someone can help me.

Edit: it is automatic with 135k miles and no codes are reading

Well 6000 rpm is a bit much, maybe the timing belt did skip a tooth. You'd have to check alignment of the camshafts to determine that.

So far you've determined there is no spark. Typically if the crank position sensor is bad you'll see no RPM signal in the data when you crank the engine with a scan tool hooked up.

thanks il try that it might take a few days for me to get ahold of a code reader but il do that

I tried that the code scanner is not connecting to the car and when looking at the crankshaft sensor the cable is cut a little bit from rubbing on the timing belt because it wasn't threaded properly hopefully that will fix the scanner issue and the car not starting issue

I replaced the crankshaft position sensor and it was cut up because the timing belt was rubbing up against it but it still doesn't start does anyone have any tips?

I would repair the wires on the old sensor and leave it in.

Is it sparking?

No, there is still no spark

Finally found the issue after rechecking the fuses it was a 20/yellow fuse that had blown
