Hello. I own a 2004 Hyundai Elantra gls.
It has approx 160k kms on it. I took it to a mechanic to replace my high pressure power steering hose.
Also replaced spark plugs, air filter and cleaned maf sensor. Car ran great for few hours then out of nowhere my idle started to bounce from 800 to 2k rpms while wither driving or parked. When it jumped it makes an audible click sound and CEL light flickers each time it does but usually never leaves and codes. Main code i get is bank 1 02 sensor hot.
Ill try to upload some code pictures i took and a short video of this happening.
What i have done so far.
Replaced spark plugs
Checked spark plug gap
Air filter
High pressure power steering hose
Changed MAF sensor
Changed IAC sensor
Cleaned throttle body
New clamps on throttle body
Changed fuel pump relay
Changed main relay
Changed crank sensor
Changed engine coolant temperature sensor
Tested cam sensor
Tested crank sensor wiring
Tested battery
Tested alternator
Smoke test vacuum leak passed cold
Changed coil packs
Cleaned all grounds and reconnected
Added additional body ground
Did you use all OEM parts?
Yes i have. Thank
I also made a short video of what my car is doing when this issue happens, praying someone else has had this problem.

I'm wondering if that click isn't coming from the throttle body because your symptoms of a surging idle from 800 to 2k rpms (not seen in the video) and the engine cutting off makes the TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) a possibility.
Add to that it's a Hyundai so the wiring and connector to the TPS is also an "elevated" possibility. Maybe grab those wires at the TPS and SLOWLY move them around a little and do the same with the connector to see if there's any affect.
If it isn't the wiring or connector, then either test the TPS for power, ground, signal voltage, and continuity on the signal wire from the sensor to the computer.
Or you can gamble that it isn't a wiring/connector issue and just replace it. (they're cheap enough)
