Scotty and the team,
Happy Easter! Since it's getting to be more warmer out and I can do car washes myself instead of going to a car wash place, what soap product do you recommend and where?
Thanks 🙂
I'm not picky. Whatever washes away the dirt. It's just a car.
Ditto.
I’m amazed they could walk straight, after that..
The trick is to go back and forth, instead of round and around. It won't get your vestibular system spinning. But yeah ... I think I would still need to sit down for a minute.
Just hire hula hoopers..
i have always had good results using turtle wax zip wax. soap and wax in one. available most anywhere.
I’ve been washing my cars now for the past 5 years using waterless products. One of the best out there and that I use on a regular basis is the WashMist Concentrate you buy (see link below and was developed by a detailing company called EliteFinish), mix with water inside a spray bottle, then spray a vehicle with it and use a high quality microfiber towel (microfiber towels are not all created equal) to wipe down. I ordered direct from EliteFinish and they have been pretty good with delivery. See links and videos below to these products. They are not cheap, but their products are good and really do work.

(another good microfiber towel I’ve bought and use from CarProUSA)

I would also recommend going to a self car wash where you use their hose and soap the car up, but clean it with a clean towel (microfiber towel or whatever it is you use). This method is if you care about little scratches. Make sure to use the 'towel' in a straight pattern, NOT circular (circular scratches are harder to remove than regular ones)
Honestly, a hose is enough to get basic dirt and debris off at home. I guess the answer to your question depends on how much you care about your cars paint. Definitely not an expert but I hope this helped. @daywalker has a more informative post...
On my daily, I just use a good drive thru.
On my show cars and on my dealership cars, I only use Griot's Garage products. Expensive but they work amazing.
