Check engine light/knock sensor code on 2002 Toyota Sienna LE. Should I still buy it? Help!

Hey folks.  Been looking for an older Sienna many months.  Found one on FB marketplace with 191,000 mi. for $2,800.  Looks ok, but owner says the check engine lights been on since 2019 for the knock sensor.  He says it drives just fine.  Also, he doesn't know when the timing belt was changed last.  I'm a lady just trying to find a reliable Sienna that's reasonably priced.  Love watching Scotty because I learn so much.   Should I travel 160 mi to another state to look/drive this Sienna?  New timing belt and knock sensor I'm figuring to cost about $1,000, so is it still a good value for an 02' Sienna in, what looks like, pretty good shape from the pics.  It's in Illinois so could be some rust.  Don't know for sure, but don't see any in pics.

Nope.

I wouldn't even drive 100 miles to get a car like that. Pass

I would not. Try to find something that your trustworthy mechanic can check it before you buy it.

When I go to buy a vehicle, I bring two things;  a compression testing set with oil and a scan tool.
