2006 Nissan Sentra 1.8L 91,000 miles
My girlfriend's car has been sitting for about a year. I drove it for the first time yesterday and noticed that the front tires (the right tire more than the left), make a chirping sound during mild acceleration. The tires brand appears to be cheap china tires.
What could be the cause, cheap tires or something else?

Have you checked the tire pressure? Underinflated tires will make noise.
