Hi, scotty a someone is selling a 2008 chrysler sebring sedan V6 with 156,000 miles for $1234. But the only issues with the car is that it needs new spark plugs and two ignition coils. It still drives. I'm tempted to buy, is this a good deal?
Are 2008 sebrings reliable?
No. Also, if all it really needed was plugs and coils the seller could do that himself and sell the car at a much higher price.
the only issues with the car is that it needs new spark plugs and two ignition coils.
if that was the case, why didn't the owner just do that?
I'm not sure. They said it's in excellent runnin condition other than it needing the spark plugs and ignition coils. Are 2008 sebrings reliable?
how can it possible be "excellent" with bad plugs and coils? No. Run away.
Find a car that doesn't need parts before you even buy it.
They it cuts on and off sometimes but it's still drivable as they claim.
only issues (...) it needs new spark plugs and two ignition coils
No.
it's not its "only issues", if they were the owner would replace it and drive it.
I'm tempted to buy, is this a good deal?
Are you prepared to fix it yourself? possibly replace the ECM / engine?
Should I buy this Chrysler
Unless you are going to work your self on this Mercedes (designed by them)
Thanks for the help. The person is obviously trying to pawn the car off on someone. Maybe when they said excellent condition, they are talking about the body which has no damage.
I was just driving around the city today, and saw a Sebring being towed.
