What are scottys thoughts on the Honda and Toyota cvt transmission I'm now looking at the civic and accord and Camry
Honda and Toyota both make pretty good CVTs, but between the two Toyota edges out Honda. Toyota has always been the best at making automatic and CVT transmissions.
They make pretty reliable CVT transmissions when compared to the Jatco CVTs -
It's the current state of the used car market. Before the pandemic shouldn't be that much, but now prices are stupidly over-inflated.
Get the new camry. It's really nice looking and realy fun to drive. I have seeen multiple 2019 camry se's in the 17k range.
What years are you looking at and how long do you plan to keep it?

Hello scotty I found a 2016 camry Se with 27k went to look at it one owner he said it was his father's car dad pasted away car sat for two years in the Chicago winter he said his aunt drove it from time to time anyway I looked at the car opened hood trunk the hood trunk channels were filled with tree leaves I pulled the air filter it was dirty drove it was good but he had all service records I offered him $17 said no then $17,500 no he is will take $ 18,000 I told him that I'm taking it to Toyota dealership for inspected the battery terminals had acid on them both I gave him $200 deposit and going Monday for inspection i feel he is asking to much should I walk away I still have to detail it and who knows what the dealer will find perhaps brakes what are your thoughts with taxes and tittle it will cost $ 19,200
I just bought a 2019 Camry SE in January this year for $19,000 so I wouldn’t pay that much for a 2016 Camry. Maybe $15,000 tops
Hello I watched the video about the cvt so which cars / years are good to buy I was looking at the 2012 thru 2017 Camry should I consider 2018 19 Camry or Corolla
