Hi,i have a 2010 cvr 4x4 ex automatic 200000 km,about 3 years i have a engiine hesitation on accelaration on cold engine, only in cold engine,i let him run few minutes when it s warm no problem. The same problem aboout 3 years no mechanician can fomd the problem becaise no code given and its only in cold engine for 2 minutes the problem.
Check fuel pressure
Fuel pressure suppose to do it all time why only cold engine???
does it happen with a cold engine?
Yes only when the engine it s cold.A lot of hesitation on accelaration until tjlhe engine warm up
Fuel pressure suppose to do it all time why only cold engine???
You could have an intermittent problem if the pump is just starting to go bad or if the filter is partially clogged.
Have you analyzed live data for problems?
The problem start 3 years a go ,same think about 3 years,if it was gas pump or filters ,in 3 years they will be worst ,but nothing change
If you say so. Perhaps when you take a look at live data that will shed some light on what's going on.
You could be starting to have problems with the fuel pump. A cold engine requires more fuel to start and run. Once it's at operating temperature, the mixture leans out and becomes stochiometric (14.7 parts air to one part fuel). As @Gew said, check the fuel pressure. It should always remain at 60 PSI throughout the RPM range. If it drops below 60 PSI, either the fuel pump is starting to go, or your fuel filter is partly clogged.
It would be interesting to see the fuel trims on that thing.
Yeah, I'm curious as well.
I really don't know why so many people, apparently even some mechanics, seem to have an aversion to looking at the data and stop their diagnosis at "no codes". Even just a few basic items like fuel trims and sensor outputs can reveal a heck of a lot about what's going on and most inexpensive scan tools can read that stuff.
I guess they expect to precisely know what the problem is when they hook scan tools up. "There's definitely code for everything." Most problems related to the fuel pump won't trip the check engine light, as far as I know, but I could be wrong. The engine just runs rough or outright dies. As you said, fuel trims are what I would look for, or do it the manual way and attach a fuel pressure meter to the Schrader valve on the fuel rail.
Are the 2010 Crv have a fuel filter?? If yes where .

Yes, all cars have fuel filters to not let contaminants get into the fuel injection system.
Modern cars, and least cars from the Big Three have them inside the gas tank. You need to drop the tank. Hondas and Toyotas are typically more user-friendly and they might be accessible without dropping the tank, you can do it within the vehicle. There's a hatch under the back seat if you have one.
it was easy to see the filter in my honda accord, if i order a new fuel pump assembly is the filter already on whit the pump assembly ?

Order one from the original equipment manufacturer, if you go that route. If there's no separate fuel filter that's outside the tank, it'll be inside it.

Looks like you have to drop the fuel tank and take apart the fuel pump assembly.

If i order i new full pump assembly is it came whit a fuel fiilter already on.
I don't know anything about that vendor, what they supply with the assembly, or what the quality is.
