2014 VW Jetta 2.5L, automatic, 46,000 miles, unscanned.
Hey Scotty (or really anyone who can answer my question),
I'll preface this by saying I don't really know much about cars but I do find the mechanical aspect of them to be interesting.
I purchased my car brand new from the dealership. Still runs like a treat, never needed any major repairs. Lately I'm having an issue where if I make a turn I can feel a draft enter the cabin from the radio/climate control area (I live in Maine so this really sucks in the winter). I have a habit of turning the climate control system completely off when I turn off my car and as I recall, when I first got the vehicle you could hear a sealing noise coming from the vents when doing this. It no longer makes the sealing noise when climate control is turned off. I'm just curious if someone has an inkling as to what the issue might be. Thanks in advance.
it's never sealed. Always open to the outside.
Maybe when you turn, the air hits the intake at just the right angle.
