Hey Scotty! I followed your video on testing my engine compression on my 2002 Camry 2.4L with 182k miles, and I'm worried about the results. What do you think about these readings I got?:

Cylinder 1: 125 psi

Cylinder 2: 140 psi

Cylinder 3: 147 psi

Cylinder 4: 155 psi

Cylinder 1 is a bit low but it is a 21 years old car with 182k miles.

Did you do the wet compression test as well?

It’s border line, the worst cylinder is 80% of the best

(I don’t know how much of an accepted practice this is, but when testing compression, you average 3-5 attempts per cylinder, and the lowest result that doesn’t count as “no compression” is 80%)

The engine is just worn out but you can still use it, it’ll probably go for a while.

So if that’s what’s the relative compression (difference between the cylinders), the overall compression (dry/wet) is probably very low.

(PCV valve maybe stuck because all of that blow-by and that can make oil burning even worse)

The relative dry compression test is to asses if there’s a problem, to gauge the problem you need a dry/wet compression test.
