Hello I owe a 2013 Dodge Journey crew about 167k miles My check engine light came on it was the code for catalytic converter I put some seafoam in and the check engine light went off no other problems from that then about a week later every time I turn my car on I’d hear a rush of water and every time I turn the corner then I noticed when I would park I’d have two huge puddles of water dripping from my exhaust now that it’s colder weather I tried to start my car up and it sounded like the exhaust was sputtering like my car wanted to start but something was clogged so I don’t know if the water froze in the exhaust every mechanic I’ve called has absolutely no clue what I’m talking about
It sounds like the exhaust is not getting hot enough to evaporate the condensation that normally occurs, especially upon first warming up. Have there ever been any mods to the exhaust system like going from single to a dual exhaust?
make sure your coolant level isn't going down
