I have a 2006 honda accord. It smokes when I've driven it and gotten it up to temperature... it'd just smoke a bit and stop..till I drive it for a while again and it does so again..it runs good and smooth though... I'm stuck between wether it's the valve stem seals or the piston rings..any advice

Well one or the other and do a wet and dry compression test if the wet and dry compression pressures are pretty close it's the valve seals cuz they don't affect compression they just suck oil in when the intake opens

I drive a 2006 honda accord...Aside smoke from exhaust (not constant)...what do you think is the cause of oily exhaust pipe.. because even with the smoke the exhaust pipe gets oily after driving for a while.

P.S

I'm the guy that asked about the valve seals or piston rings a while ago

Worn out piston rings.

Are you sure...cause I strongly suspect the valve seals?

If the smoke is dense and white, it's a blown (or going) head gasket.  If it's blue, it's oil (rings, valve stem seals.) If it's black, it's an overly rich mixture.  Are you losing oil or coolant?

Yeah...I loose some between oil change...last time almost half...last time I had the oil change I put in an additive called "WHIZ"...
