Hey Scotty , I’m currently attending Phoenix College and I’m a father of two. I’ve been looking for a nice reliable car for the family but not sure what to get... any recommendations?  Also what are your thoughts on Lincoln’s?

Check out the Used Car Buying Guide linked below as that is a source lots of members worked on and you should check it out. What is your budget? What kind of vehicle are you looking for?

The only Lincoln I'd consider is the Lincoln Town Car, other than that, there are better options out there.

If you need a comfortable car that is decent in every way under 10k that gets good fuel economy, I'd recommend the 2014-2016 Toyota Corolla.

Other great options include

2010-2011 Honda Civic

2011-2012 Honda Accord

Toyota RAV4 (various years)

Toyota Highlander

Again, check out the FAQ page for "I need a Vehicle" (linked down below) to find a sea of information for used cars.

Are you looking new or used? Again price? There is a sea of cars out there.

Generally I can tell you to stick with car brands like

Toyota

Lexus

Honda

and maybe

Mazda

Subaru

If we are at the bare minimum, avoid FCA vehicles (Fiat, Chrysler, Dodge, Ram, etc.)

Also, what are you looking for in your vehicle? Do you want to have it last you 5 years or 15 years?

Function, reliability, budget, etc. are all important factors that need to be addressed.

Also the newer Honda Civic 2017+ LX for more budget and 2011-2013 Toyota Corolla for less budget, good luck, @scottykilmer didn't reply but us members and moderators are here to help him out so check out the FAQ page.

Lincoln quality is unfortunately not good.

A Camry, Accord, or Avalon would be a better choice.

Nice & reliable? I’d stick to the Camry/Accord on that one.
