Ford ACM module

I have a 2014 Ford Fusion with an ACM or audio module that has finally quit. I mainly just wanted some advice on what to check(to make sure I checked all variables pertaining to the problem) and what you guys think.
My main options (assuming all is good but the ACM like any common issues that cause ACM not to function) seem to be:

Get a similar trim, year, model acm and just switch it out.

Get FORscan or get it scanned to see if it may need an update or problem with software/logic.

Some companies have srvuce to get a refurbished one or send in one I believe.

All things considered I can do most all the repairs myself but scanning and programming unless I buy the software or a scanner :/.

You're probably best trying to get a refurbished one that's pre-programmed. If you can't get one that's programmed then you'd have to pay a mechanic to program it. Now of course the new one would certainly work but they're not cheap

Thanks Scotty
Yeah Im tryna see cause some people had luck just reprogramming the problematic one. So, I will try that then probably give in and try the junk yard for a used one. Thanks for the input always appreciated. Fckin fords man whew
