Hy Scotty... Love the show, my favourite channel by far.
I have an 04 Nissan Frontier with 310,000kms, 3.3 V6. Every couple of years I replace the fuel filter and I think that it's has had a lot to do with the longevity of the truck. One thing that I noticed is that it can be a bit of a pain replacing the in-line filters (thankfully it's not in the tank!). I was thinking of getting a spin-on type fuel filter mount and matching filter and reworking the current setup so that changing the fuel filter is as easy as changing the oil filter. Do you think that this is a good idea? Should I be concerned that the inline filter designed for the truck somehow has better or certain filtration qualities that a spin on doesn't? Thanks tons!
Spin ons sound great, if you can find a good kit (or adapt a recyclable one). But maybe you're getting an awful lot of crud in your fuel.
