I know most people drive Toyotas nowadays. When you drive a different vehicle, do you feel like the accelerator feels more sensitive than what you use to? My uncle drives a Honda CRV and then he drives my aunt's Subaru Forester. He told me when he touches the accelerator it feels more sensitive than a Toyota or Honda.
It also depends on a diffence in engine power and gear ratio.
You also made your point.
I mean between the cars. I drive a 99 HP manual Toyota Auris. Once I was in an automatic Audi A4 with 190 HP. As soon as it moved I pressed the brake pedal because I was not habituated to such acceleration and there was a car in front of me.
@g-t My uncle doesn't mean in terms in power. Just pressing the accelerator for just normal cruising. But thanks for answering.
How 'strong' are the engines?
@g-t You mean the horsepower. If so, my uncles's Honda CRV is around 166 hp and my aunts's Forestor is 170 to 250 hp. I'm not sure what type engine is it. I think it's because it has 2.5L cylinder so it has 250 hp.
More HP also contribute to better acceleration while cruising. You can notice that when you overtake a vehicle in front of you.
I know most people drive Toyotas nowadays.
Who told you that?
When you drive a different vehicle, do you feel like the accelerator feels more sensitive than what you use to?
Some yes, some no. It depends on the vehicle, engine etc.
@mountainmanjoe Oh because of reliability. I don't know why I think it's a stereotype lol. Stereotypes are not good for me. Then again, not everyone drive Toyotas. They maybe have a different vehicle
