Hey Scotty,

Have you read? GM is starting to remove unnecessary features  vehicles due to chip shortages, starting with that annoying as heck auto start/stop feature! Ro you think this may be the beginning to making cars simpler and easier like the old days?

Good news not to have the start stop feature.

Some vehicles (trucks) are also not being equipped with the cylinder deactivation electronic modules.  It would be great if GM would stop putting start/stop and cylinder deactivation in their vehicles after the chip shortage passes - wishful thinking 🙂

I did not notice in the article that customers were going to be charged less for the vehicle because it doesn't have that useless auto start/stop.

that's right, and to compensate you for this deficiency, GM will compensate you (are you ready) ... a whopping $50! Don't spend it all at once, chief.

$50??? Now, I may be able to get half a tank of gas! Thanks, Joe.

GM aint dumb ... that's probably how much fuel the "feature" saves you over the lifetime of the vehicle.

Right you are, Joe!
