I have a 1999 Toyota 4Runner, 4 cylinder, Automatic Transmission, 185K miles.
Just recently the truck has made a gurgling/squealing noise when turning all the way left on the steering wheel, it does not happen when I turn all the way right. What could this be?

- Well they usually means that the steering rack is a little bit worn on that other side the one that makes the noise. If you had a weak pump it would girl go in either direction but you could try flushing out the power steering system and put in full synthetic fluid and awful it'll clean it out in the noise will go away
