Good Evening I hope you can help I'm banging my head against the wall here.
2012 Civic HF 146k miles
First symptoms were lack of power and acceleration. Eventually throwing code p0171 running lean. I've gone down the list and checked everything. Fuel pump unit, plugs, main relays, coils, crank sensor, pcv, airbox, maf, gone through the Honda work flow for this code.
I can get it to start when it's cold after a few cranks possibly. When it's warm it's almost impossible. Battery checks out. I'm currently looking more into the ect sensors however I feel like I'm chasing my tail again. In the meantime if someone could please help me figure this out.
You didn't mention anything about the injectors. Leaking injectors will flood the cylinders when warmed up and prevent starting.
I have not pulled or replaced injectors. Would leaking or faulty injectors cause a lean condition or misfire?
I am not having misfires and everything improves when I reset ecm or disconnect battery for 10+.
