[Solved] Heating issue with 2014 Ram 1500 5.7L

Having a problem with the heat in my '14 Ram 1500 5.7L with 138,000 kms.  Passenger side blows decently hot air but drivers side does not.  A/C seems to work perfectly fine.  Fan also seems to work 10x better when on recirculate compared to when that is off.  Wondering if it is a blend door issue or a partially clogged heater core?  Coolant is full but seems as if the output hose for the heater core is warmer than the return hose.

You could remove the outlet hose and run a very light water pressure into it and out the inlet house. See if it’s backed up.....

Worked perfectly. Drivers side is 41c and passenger side is 49c. Feel like it definitely could be a tad warmer but there's actual heat now. Drivers side was previously ~14c and passenger side was ~26c.

It could be the blend door, I would check the heater inlet and outlet houses running into the firewall via heater core. If one is hot and the other is cold, you have a restriction in the core.

I have done that, one hose is definitely warmer than the other. Both hoses are not hot enough and can be held on to with a full hand after driving 30 minutes on the highway. Not hot enough to hurt just.. warm enough to feel it
