When I move the steering wheel I hear cracking/popping sounds from the axle/ball joint area.what should I replace first?

Don't guess, test. Jack up the car. Watch my video how to check out your car suspension system? Scotty. Then you'll be able to test to see if it's the tie rods that have wobbling or ball joints or worn struts
