I'm looking at a private original owner of a 2013 Hyundai Sonata Limited hybrid that has 223K miles. She drives it 1 miles round trip to work every day. So, that seeing one of your other videos about a high mileage chevy I think that was at 400K with a 500 a week travel, radioactive material, right. So a hw mile is about 1/4 of normal city miles. Only asking $3K. Not bad for the price, but I'm nervous about the engine, trany and hybrid batteries. Could be a money pit. I have a2017 Elantra I bought new and it has been great. I even changed the transmission fluid like you said. Sure do wish I lived closer to Clarksville....grew up in Buffalo, took the family to see the Falls last summer...great time! The only think worse than a Hyundai is a high mileage Hyundai
Run as far as you can from that high mileage Sonata Hybrid. That thing will be a money pit in a very short amount of time with the engine, electronics and the entire hybrid system.
Stay away from Hyundai Motor Group products: quality is not there and they don’t stand behind their products. Enough has been said on this forum and by Scotty, and that’s just their regular ICE products. Forget about their hybrids, and especially at that mileage.

Hybrid cars in general at high mileages could be more prone to needing their battery replaced which isn't cheap. Hyundai cars are not good at all, and add to it being hybrid so definitely not worth it.
1 mile round trip a day. The engine won't even warm up in that time. She accumulated 223K at 1 mile a day . That does not add up. At least have a mechanic look it over. Those were the bad years for their engines. Your buying a 9 year old car with an expired warranty if it truly has 223K on it. Much as I hate to say this about a Hyundai.... Run away as fast as you can!
