1991 Hilux Surf no reverse lights can't locate loom connection

Model (Toyota Surf LN130, 2nd Gen, 3L, 2.8 litre) pre-facelift 1991

Was auto, now manual 5-speed. Transmission has a reverse gear detent switch, but I cannot find how to connect it to the wiring loom.

The auto had quite a number of wires at the shifter handle and they just sit there. Underneath a sensor, which I expect is to determine speed under 12 km/hr, to allow engagement of 4WD Hi via gearstick switch. It is still plugged in but just strapped underneath and not sensing anything. I understand the engine won't start if it is unplugged. I have to stop to engage 4WD Hi. Not worried about that too much. Would be nice to tidy it up but my main issue is not having reversing lights.

The ECU would appear to be the original.

Cheers. Thanks for a great resource

Well the automatic had the backup light on the transmission range sensor but the standard transmission is heavy switch that puts the backup lights on so really you could just send power to the backup light switch and then the other side of the switch send a new wire to the backup lights beats looking through stuff.I don't have access to Hilux wiring diagrams cuz they don't sell them here in America
