Hey Scotty!
I have a 2019 Honda Accord Sport 1.5, I just hit 100,014 miles. Everything has been great so far other than last week, I had a misfire code that read misfire cylinder 3 and 4, as well as random misfire. It literally stopped accelerating while on the interstate. I cut it off and back on and it ran fine. Took it to the dealership, paid to get the spark plugs changed after looking at one of your videos. Got it back, drove it for at least four to five hours that day and it happened again, took it back to the dealership with my paperwork showing from Autozone what happened, they ended up taking everything out again and looking over it. I got it back on Saturday and its been fine ever since but I’m just praying it doesn’t happen again. I definitely plan on keeping the car lol as long as you have your Toyota Matrix. Let me know anything else I can check into just to make sure. I do travel a lot being a travel nurse.
It could’ve been a number of things. Did they replace the fuel filter, and/or pressure test the fuel pump?

I have bad news, that's a known issue on this engine - Honda is investigating it (NHTSA document)
But Honda is incompetent - they extended the investigation three times and haven't provided any conclusion.
In other words, not even Honda engineers know what wrong with your car.
and you're not alone, this affects lots of 1.5Ts.
Adding insult to injury, Honda is secretive about what they suspect is the cause,
usually companies are upfront about what's the suspected issue, not "have the dealer email us for repair tips".
But past experience has shown that those issues tend to be injector related ($1,500+ and sometimes it doesn't help).
See what's the trade in value is like, to get a nautically aspirated Toyota Camry instead of a Turbocharged engine mated to a CVT made by clowns who have 0 clue what's wrong with their design and yet continue to produce it.
@itwt , I did research online and almost every random misfire on Honda 1.5L is solved by injectors.
For example: https://www.civicx.com/forum/threads/service-bulletin-19-033.49072/post-800705
https://www.crvownersclub.com/threads/2017-awd-cr-v-electronic-sensors-alarms.204031/post-1607330
(They replace the injectors right left and center, if the spark plug replacement doesn't fix a misfire, they put in new injectors)
and many others.
I’m surprised we've only seen a few cases on the forum. Maybe we might hear about it down the line when the cars start to age and more owners start getting affected by it?
@itwt I think only time will tell. I can't find info on wether that's an issue with the engine / injector design (like on new turbocharged Volvos), or if it's just the quality issues with certain units (like the old Honda Pilot). It's going to be interesting to see how it develops...
What exactly did the dealer do the second time you brought it in?
