My son is new car shopping. The Honda HR-V seems like good value. Anyone have any thoughts or recommendations on the HR-V? I don't see a lot of info on it.

The HR-V is a really solid car. Now that both of the CR-V engines are turbocharged I would actually recommend a HR-V over a CR-V.
Hopefully when Honda introduces the newly re designed HRV they will not mess up a good thing like they did with the CRV
And the Accord
Note they are coming out with a new HRV model this year. Probably in the Summer.
The way I see the HR-V is it kinda replaced the old school CR-V in terms of size. The first generation CR-V was tiny. The first generation HR-V looks more beefy. As the CR-V sized up, Honda appears to have replaced the smaller segment with the HR-V.
I see HR-V's all over the place where I live. I concur, it seems like a could value.
And as others have said, it is a new model year coming soon.
Yes, if you don't mind the smaller size I would actually recommend this over any other subcompact crossover.
