I have a 2003 Toyota Camry 2.4L A/T with ~230,000 miles. Recently I was doing a suspension rebuild when the boot of my CV Axle tore. about 1/3 of my transmission fluid spilled in the process of replacement and I am wondering about how to go about replacing it. I know that if you have not changed the fluid on an old automatic it can do damage if you do replace it later down the line. Is it better to replace the missing fluid with new ATF, or to use Lucas slip fix, or some mixture of both?

Top it off with the correct ATF (The one that is called for your car).
