Hello!
My petrol automatic Volvo xc70 2.5t 2005 seems to have lost its bite just the recent year. I suspect it might be due to compression (pistonrings?)
It runs pretty good until I use the kickdown to overtake, it gears down and revs up but the car doesnt at all take off like it used to..
However, I want to buy a compression test kit and learn how to do it. It seems easy enough but how do I cut out power to the ignition and fuelpump for doing the test on my car?

It's not as easy as you think to do it right. Carefully read the instructions that come with the kit.
