Hello! Rarely see ol' Scotty talking bout hyundai.

I'm about to go see a tiburon from the 97 with 200k miles and fairly cheap, would be my first car ever. What do you think about it? It has captive brake rotors which I know I would have to change at some point but other than that is there any reason I should not buy it or things to pay special attention to?

It is also the version with the cool headlights. I don't really know how different it is from the base model.

The reason why Scotty rarely talks about them is because they’re piles of junk.

Hyundai & Korean cars in general are all show & no go.

The one you’re looking at is at the end of its useful life. I don’t think it’s a good idea unless you’re getting it for free.

The new ones definitely are better but still not even close to Japanese ones. The old Kia and Hyundai are junk.
