2012 Hyundai Genesis with 112,000 miles cooled seats will not turn on

I have an automatic 2012 hyundai genesis with 112000 miles. Recently my drivers' cooled seats will not turn on. However my heated seats work (and are on the same button). I called a shop in the area and they want to charge $105.00 just to do an electronic diagnosis. My left rear passenger heated seats also stopped working a few months ago, and then started to work, but are back to not working again. I thought it had something to do with my old battery dying several times during the major winter storm in February. So I bought a new battery and replaced it. Unfortunately the problem remains. Is there anything I can do on my own to troubleshoot this problem?

Check for the simple stuff like fuses, relays & wiring.

If it’s not that, then just live with it, because those seats are going to cost you a fortune to replace.

I’ve seen some of the newer seats go for $1000+ per seat.

Hyundai ventilated seats are not the best compared to other manufacturers. Realize that they are not connected to the HVAC system and utilize cabin temperature air with a fan blowing the air through the seat.

Many people who say they do not feel anything have better luck they adjust the blend door setting to floor only. Of course this will mean no air is being sent to the top of the cabin.

If you believe the 15A fuse has blown, refer to this fuse box diagram for the fuse location:

Are you referring to the 15A fuse that is also for the heated seats? The heated seats work, but the cooled seat option doesn't work. If it were a blown fuse, would it also disable the heated seat since they use the same button?

Is there a video tutorial on how to check fuses, relays, and wiring for a 2012 genesis or a similar car?

Cooled seats do not turn on. Does anyone have a link to a video tutorial that shows how to check fuses, relays and wiring on a 2012 hyundai genesis or similar vehicle?
