Scotty after careful research and hearing your thought's I have Ditched The Chevy Cavalier and Decided to get a Toyota Corolla just need to know if this is a good deal on one https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/275219893962700/?ref=search&referral_code=undefined
it doesn't matter because you're not going to buy it
well not yet but regardless is it a good deal?
Well you've been looking at quite a few listings lately so you should have some idea. What do YOU think?
@mountainmanjoe {black} TRUTH. At this point he should know the market.
No don't buy the 1998-2002 generation of Corolla, get a Camry or the next/previous gen of the Corolla.
It's a 1999 model vehicle now 23 years old we used to have a 1997 Corolla and you really need to take care of those at that age so you would want to have a mechanic check it out and the price is generally what they go for it isn't an amazing deal but considering it mostly likely will eat through oil I'd pay 1500 tops.
There are many choices for the money check them out:

Good luck, we have been over this a lot.
Check out the Used Car Buying Guide above that I have linked if you check you could find cars to avoid at the Toyota Honda common problems page.
The 1998-2002 I4’s consumed oil - I would avoid those. Also, due to age (21+ years) the rubber, plastic, seals, bushings, etc. may need to be replaced.
Check here to see which years to steer clear of:
