Replace ignition coils as preventative maintenance?

I have a 2007 Toyota Yaris that has over 250k miles on it. Should I replace all of the ignition coils even though it doesn't misfire Or leave it be until they go out?

I would leave them be until you get a code . They could last forever . I still have the original coil on my 2004 Nissan Titan . They are usually not all going to go out at once so it's not like they will leave you broke down ; )

Yup! It's one of those things that you replace when they stop working. If it ain't broke, leave it alone.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I was thinking about replacing my coils on a 2004 Prius. Then I saw the price of the coils. Oh hell no. I’ll replace them when I need to.

Coils are simply transformers, with no moving parts that multiply low voltage (12v) to high voltage (25,000v) to fire the spark plugs. What usually goes wrong with coils is the physical connector and wiring develops high resistance due to corrosion.  If this happens, replacement is the only alternative.  Until then, however, I would leave them alone, except to make sure the connectors are clean and in good condition.
