Hey Scotty! So on my Silverado 1500 (1999) the fuel gauge won’t exactly tell me how much gas I have. Usually it stays on E or it moves on its own or stays on F and my Rpm is also stuck. What can I do?
@tony
Classic gm quality, know how many miles you can go on a tank and don't go many more then that, what I did with my 99. Can fix it but it will just stop working again

These trucks have issues with the stepper motors on the guage cluster, needles will jump around. There are places online that you ship your cluster to and they replace them, or do it yourself if you are able to. Loads of vids on YouTube for this. With the gas gauge, could be the tank sender, especially on high mileage, sweep contacts wear down on them.
