[Solved] Intermittent Parking brake light

Recently my parking brake light has stopped turning on. Despite having to also put the pedal super far down when on a hill, the light no longer illuminates when applied. Randomly it will turn on, but key on engine off, the pre test it does not illuminate. When I crank is the only time it turns on and for just crank time. No fuses are bad and the bulb seems to still work.

What can i check or test for the dash light to work?
How can i adjust the parking brake to work better? (ive adjusted the not-so-self adjuster manually to bring the shoes closer to drum)

Hi! You can check if the brake light switch is busted?

By the way, check if the wirings aren't grounded or anything too!

Just a little pull or 3 or 4 clicks of the parking brake and if it stops the vehicle already, that would be an ideal adjustment. But don't over or under do it.
